Running Rules on a Specific User

Automatic reassignment can be run on a specific user. When run on a specific user, the system will review each account/category that is currently assigned to this user.  Each assignment will be changed as needed to reflect the current SRA rules. For example, if postal code 06488 was moved from User A’s user criteria to User B’s, then running SRA rules on User A would move all accounts in the 06488 postal code from User A to User B.

After the user’s rule and any other related rules have been changed:

1)  Click on  in the Button Bar or on Tools->System Console.

2)  Click on  for User Profiles. A user list is displayed.

3)  Change the search fields as needed and click Refresh to display the target user.

4)  Click on the ID of the target user. The user’s profile opens.

5)  Click on Run SRA.

6)  Make the selections. See the table for descriptions.

Field

Description

All Categories

Check to run for all categories.
Uncheck and select a category from the list to run for only that category.

All Users

User’s name is displayed.

Override protected Account assignments

Check to reassign a Sales Rep even if the current Sales Rep is marked as protected on the account.
Uncheck to leave protected assignments unchanged.

Reassign Leads

Check to also reassign open leads.
Uncheck to leave assignments on leads unchanged.

Preview

Check to see a preview of reassignment.
Uncheck to just run the reassignment.

7)  Click on Run>.

8)  Click on home (mySalesChain) to go back to system console.
