Reassigning From One Sales Rep to Another

Reassigning all types of assignments of a Sales Rep to another Sales Rep is done through the User Profile of the System Console. This function can be used when a Sales Rep is no longer with the company.

To reassign a Sales Reps accounts:

1)  Make sure you are logged in with an ID that has administrative privileges.

2)  Click on  in the Button Bar or Tools->System Console.

3)  Click on  for User Profiles. A user list is displayed.

4)  Change the search fields as needed and click Refresh to display the target user.

5)  Click on the ID of the user that assignments are coming FROM. The user’s profile opens.

6)  Click on Re-Assign Accts. The following form appears.

7)  In the To User field, select the Sales Rep that should be assigned to the accounts.

8)  In the SRA Category field, select the SRA category for the Sales Rep. (All will assign the Sales Rep to all categories.)

9)  Click on checkboxes as needed. See the following table.

10) Click on Save.

Description

Reassign From

Displays the Sales Rep name whose accounts, etc. will all be reassigned to another Sales Rep. (From Rep)

To User

Select the Sales Rep name from the list that will receive the new assignments. (To Rep)

SRA Category

Select a category from the list to only assign the To Rep to the specified category for accounts or leads. All assigns the To Rep for all categories.

Reassign Accounts

Check to assign To Rep as Sales Rep to From Rep’s accounts.
Uncheck to not make the assignment on accounts.

Mark as protected assignments

Check to make all new assignments protected.
Uncheck to leave protection on accounts as is (if From Rep was marked protected, then To Rep will be protected).

Reassign Open Leads

Check to assign To Rep to all of From Rep’s open leads that have the selected category.
Uncheck to leave assignments on leads unchanged.

Reassign Contacts

Check to assign all unlinked Contacts that are associated with From Rep to To Rep.

Uncheck to leave unlinked Contacts unchanged.

Reassign Open Tasks

Check to assign all open tasks of From Rep to To Rep.
Uncheck to leave task assignments unchanged.
WARNING:  If this box is checked, ALL open tasks for the account will be reassigned – even if you are only reassigning one SRA category.

Reassign Future Appointments

Check to assign all scheduled appointments originated by From Rep to To Rep.
Uncheck to leave appointments unchanged.
WARNING:  If this box is checked, ALL open tasks for the account will be reassigned – even if you are only reassigning one SRA category.

Send Lead Assignee an Email

Check to send the To Rep an email for each lead that is reassigned.
Uncheck to not send emails.

Send Lead Assignee a Task

Check to create a task assigned to To Rep for each lead that is reassigned.
Uncheck to not create tasks.
