Reassigning Selected Contacts

Only contacts that are NOT associated (linked) with accounts can be reassigned. Contacts that are not linked to accounts belong to Sales Reps. Reassigning unlinked contacts is done through the Contacts Tool.

To reassign contacts:

1)  Make sure you are logged in with an ID that has administrative privileges.

2)  Click on View->Contacts.

3)  Select NOT linked to account in the Contacts filter field.

4)  Select the user name of the Rep who currently owns the contacts in the Sales Rep field.

5)  Click Refresh.

6)  Use the Letter Bar and/or the sort field to display the list you want.

7)  Click on the SEL box of each contact in the list that you want to be reassigned to the same user so a checkmark appears. Or to select all, click on SEL.

8)  Click on the  button. The following form appears.

9)  In the To User field, select the Sales Rep that should be assigned to the contact(s).

10) Click on checkboxes as needed. See the table.

11) Click on Save.

Reassign Open Tasks

Check to assign all open tasks associated with the contacts to the To Rep.
Uncheck to leave task assignments unchanged.
Note: The checkbox is inaccessible if you did not select a User Name in Step 4.

Reassign Future Appointments

Check to assign all scheduled appointments associated with the contacts to the To Rep.
Uncheck to leave appointments unchanged.
