Automatic reassignment uses SRA rules to test current assignments and determine whether they should be changed. Automatic reassignment may be needed when rules and/or categories have been added or changed. Depending on the extent of the changes, automatic reassignment can be run on the whole system (all users) or on a specific user.
Automatic reassignment requests are not processed immediately. They are collected and run overnight.
Note: For systems that interface with OMD, new assignments made to a Bill-to account can be automatically made to all associated Ship-to accounts. However, protected assignments on Ship-to accounts are not changed.
Running Rules on a Specific User
