Creating an SRA Rule

To create a new SRA rule:

1)  Make sure you are logged in with an ID that has appropriate administrative privileges.

2)  Click on  in the Button Bar or Tools->System Console.

3)  Click on  for SRA Configuration in the System Console page.

4)  Click on  for Sales Representative Assignment Rule. The SRA Rules form is displayed. An example is shown below.

5)  Click on New>>. A blank rule form appears.

6)  Fill in the fields. See the table.

Field

Description

ID

Number assigned to the SRA rule by the system. This value cannot be set or changed.

Name

Name for the SRA rule.

Description

Description of the SRA rule.

Associated Object

Select User.

Default Assignment

Sales Rep to be assigned to the account when it does not match the criteria for any of the Sales Reps listed in the user criteria section.

Branch

Grouping to reduce the list to choose from in Default Assignment.

7)  Click on Save. The form is redisplayed with an ID assigned and a section for user criteria.

8)  If you want to create user criteria for Sales Reps, see Creating User Criteria.

9)  If you are done, click Cancel.

10) Click home (mySalesChain) to go back to the system console.
