Any asset can be added to a lease, regardless of account name, as long as it is not part of another lease already. To add assets to a lease:
1) From
the Lease View, click on . The lease edit form appears.
2) If the asset is located at the account, it will be listed in the Equipment field but not highlighted. To include it in the lease, press CTRL and click on it so it is highlighted.
3) If the asset is not located at the account but
should be in the lease, enter the model number of the asset in the first space
next to In the Model/Serial and the serial number of the asset in the
next space. Click on Add/Save to add the asset.
The asset will be
listed and highlighted in the Equipment field. If the asset does not
exist or it is part of a different lease, you will get an error message.
4) Click on Save in the lease edit form to exit the form.
