Certain internet options must be selected on a PC for proper access to the mySalesChain website. The options must be set before logging in for the first time. The changes must be made on any PC that will be used to log in to the mySalesChain website.
To set the options:
1) Open an Internet Explorer browser window.
2) Click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
3) In the Internet Options popup, click on the Security tab.
4) Click on the Trusted Sites icon.
5) Click on the Sites button. The Trusted sites popup appears.
6) In the Trusted sites popup, uncheck the Require server verification field. (Click so the checkmark disappears.)
7) In the Add this web site field, enter: *.mysaleschain.com
8) Click on the Add button.
9) In the Add this web site field, enter: *.saleschain.com
10) Click on the Add button.
11) Click on
OK (in Internet Explorer versions 5 or 6)
or Close (in
Internet Explorer version 7) to close the Trusted sites popup.
12) With Trusted
Sites still selected in the Internet Options window, click on Custom
Level. The Security Settings popup appears.
13) Scroll down the list and make sure all items under ActiveX controls and plug-ins have Enable selected.
14) For Internet
Explorer version 7, scroll down the list to Scripting and set Allow
Programmatic clipboard access to Enable.
15) Click on OK to close the Security Settings popup.
16) In Internet
Explorer version 7, click on Yes for the confirmation popup, Are you
sure you want to change the settings for this zone? You will be back in
Internet Options.
(This confirmation does not pop up in earlier IE
versions.)
17) Click on OK to close the Internet Options popup.
18) Close the browser and reopen it so the settings take effect.
