Managing Product Categories
A product category is a grouping of similar pieces of equipment, such as copier or accessories. Every catalog item belongs to some product category. On the order form, the product category is used to logically filter the list of options displayed in the equipment list. A product category is also identified on leads. Product categories can be added, modified, and deactivated.
