Adding Manufacturers to the Catalog

To add a manufacturer to the product catalog:

1)  Click on  for System Console or Tools->System Console.

2)  Scroll down to Type Tables and select Catalog->Manufacturers from the drop-down field of type tables.

3)  A list of existing manufacturers will be displayed, similar to the following.
Click on New Product Manufacturer.

4)  The form for a new entry is displayed above the list.
Enter the data in the fields. The fields are described in the table.

5)  Click on Save. The list will be updated with the new entry and a message appears at the top that the record was saved.

6)  Click on Cancel to exit.

If a new product category is needed, refer to Adding a Product Category. If not, add the new products as described in Adding a Catalog Item.
